Virechanam

Virechanam is one of the five principal Panchakarma therapies in Ayurveda. It is a controlled therapeutic purgation procedure that helps eliminate excess Pitta dosha and accumulated toxins from the body. Virechanam supports healthy digestion, purifies the blood, improves liver function, and is beneficial for skin disorders, digestive issues, and metabolic imbalances.

Here are some common Abhyangam treatment methods you can use on your website:

1. Preparatory Therapy (Purva Karma)

Before Virechanam, the body is prepared with internal oleation (Snehana) and therapeutic sweating (Swedana). These procedures help loosen toxins and direct them toward the digestive tract for effective elimination.

2. Therapeutic Virechanam (Main Procedure)

Specially formulated Ayurvedic herbal medicines are administered to induce controlled bowel evacuation. This process removes excess Pitta and toxins from the intestines, helping to improve digestion, skin health, liver function, and overall metabolism.

3. Post-Therapy Care (Paschat Karma)

Following the cleansing procedure, a gradual diet and lifestyle plan is recommended to restore digestive strength and maintain the benefits of the treatment. This phase supports recovery, balances the doshas, and promotes long-term health and wellness.
